As a teenager, I had never paid much attention to poetry. It seemed like a dry and inaccessible art form, something that only academics and intellectuals could appreciate. That all changed when I first heard Attila the Stockbroker at the festival.

Attila's work is a unique blend of wit, humour, and social critique. His verses skewer politicians, celebrities, and other public figures with a sharpness and precision that is both devastating and hilarious.

But beyond the satire and humour, there is a deep humanity and empathy in his work that speaks to the struggles and joys of everyday life.

Listening to Attila's speak was a revelation for me. I had never realized that poetry could be so engaging, and so relevant to the issues and concerns of the world around me. His work inspired me to explore other poets and spoken word artists to develop my own interest and appreciation for the art form.

And now, as one of the hosts of this podcast, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to interview

Attila the Stockbroker himself. It's hard to put into words just how excited I am to talk with someone who has had such a profound impact on my life and the lives of so many others.

For me, Attila the Stockbroker is more than just a poet and musician - he's a cultural icon and a force for change. His work has inspired countless people to speak out against injustice and to stand up for what they believe in. And I am honoured to have the chance to speak with him on the podcast.

If you're someone who has never paid much attention to poetry or spoken word, I encourage you to check out the work of Attila the Stockbroker. His unique blend of punk rock energy, humour, and social commentary might just change your life, as it did mine.
